Naptime Nanny Review

I have 3 little girls at home with me, and they have never been good nappers. All of them stopped taking naps by the time they were 2, and they never want to settle down to have “quiet time”. Believe me, this makes for a LONG day for both mommy and the girls. They are all so cranky by 3 or 4 that the rest of the day goes downhill very quickly.

I was so excited to receive Naptime Nanny CDs in the mail. This great collection of stories is the perfect thing for kids to lay down and listen to for quiet time. Even if they don’t sleep (my 2 year old actually DID go to sleep a few times while listening to them because she was so relaxed), they enjoy downtime and rest their bodies and mind. All 3 of them (ages 2, 4, and 6) often ask me to put the CDs in throughout the day, and they even want to bring them on long car trips as an alternative to watching the DVD player. They love listening to the stories like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs, and The Ugly Duckling to name a few. The stories are very entertaining with music and sound effects. The stories keep my very active kids still for the entire length of the CD!

I highly recommend the Naptime Nanny CDs to anyone who has little kids. Work in a daycare or preschool? These are a MUST for helping kids relax during nap time!
