Oh, VeggieTales, how I love you! With all the yucky cartoons on TV today for kids (Monster High, Spongebob, etc), it is so refreshing to have an entertaining movie that the kids love AND teaches them good values. The newest movie of VeggieTales is Robin Good & His Not So Merry Men. All 3 of my little girls loved the movie with it’s fun songs and silly dancing vegetables. We popped it into the DVD player on a 4 hour ride to my parents’ house over Easter, and they not only watched it once but THREE times in a row! My oldest knew all the songs by memory by then and couldn’t help by sing along.
The movie has a good solid message that teaches kids to share and work together. In the film, Robin Good and his Men are on trying to fund raise from the rich to help the poor. When they don’t succeed at fund raising, they decide to try stealing. In the end, they always do what is right.
